Our story

Built from the things that shaped our family.

Roots Rails Trails grew from three things that have shaped our family: strong roots, a love of railroad history, and years of outdoor adventures.

Our designs celebrate the stories and places that stay with us—from Sunday dinners at Nonna’s and the sound of a locomotive rolling by to the trails of Central New York.

I develop each idea and design, while trusted production partners help print and ship our apparel. Thank you for supporting our small family shop and helping us keep these stories moving down the line.

Yes. Our apparel is printed after you order and shipped by trusted production partners.

What if there is a problem with my order?

Returns and exchanges are not accepted on made-to-order items, but please contact us through Etsy if an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect so we can help.

Can I cancel an order?

Cancellation requests are accepted within two hours of purchase. Send the request through Etsy as soon as possible.
